Bosch has developed a vision for the Factory of the Future based on more than 100 real life projects in its own plants. Starting with digital configuration of the end product through a fully digitalized value stream, completely connected machinery will manufacture serial and custom made goods with maximum flexibility independent of lot size with new benchmarks in cost benefit ratio. The Factory of the Future adapts to the manufactured products automatically, the machinery can be (re)configured easily to new requirements, both in local position within the factory as well as in functionality. The session will explain the concepts, what we have learnt in the projects in our own plants and how we can shape the Factory of the Future together.
This is an lecture as part of the Hannover Messe (1-5 April Hannover, Germany)
