[masked] AgilARty – The relevance of Agile in ‘The World of Tomorrow’
The first topic is: A five-stage rocket to boost your agility!
At Agile Holland we discuss a lot about agile principles and practices. In this presentation Arjen will share 5 ways to boost your agility even further. The 5 ways are all about organization, architecture, development, operations and culture. We start with the objectives any technology organization should have. Then we’ll cover some theories that form the principles. For example theories like the universal scalability law and the law of diminishing returns. Finally we get to the practices with 5 ways that you can start using the next day at your work. While explaining the 5 ways Arjen will use examples of companies he worked for like bol.com, Coosto and Parkmobile. They are all very successful companies, and yet they all choose their own principles & practices that work for them.
First speaker is Arjen de Ruiter. He is an independent consultant for software organizations. Currently he works as interim manager at Parkmobile. Up to last year he has been CTO at Coosto, a SaaS platform for social media management. Before that Arjen worked at bol.com where he has been leading the software teams for marketing and where he has been head of technical platform services.
The second topic is: AgilARty – The relevance of Agile in ‘The World of Tomorrow’.
The Agile Manifesto was signed over 18 years ago and yet it – and its 12 principles – remain as important now as they did then. As the world continues to aggressively evolve and change, Agile plays an important role in the success of companies want to experience tomorrow!
One of the hottest topics at the moment is Augmented Reality, a driver of innovation that is fast starting to help shape ‘The World of Tomorrow’. See how TWNKLS is mixing the trifactor of Evolution, AR Innovation and Agile to help its client’s step into that new world.
A nice show case demonstrating Agile Best-Practices during the talk, there will also be some fun AR Demo’s for people to get their hands on and have a play with.
The second speaker is Andy Barker, he is a Project Manager at TWNKLS Augmented Reality. A seasoned professional with over 12 years of project management experience in a variety of industries and disciplines.
As both a PRINCE2 and Agile PM practitioner, he thrives on “nerding” out about the different methodologies available and tailoring them to the needs of the project at hand.
